UTL is a compact workhorse for battery reliability. Current loading is limited to 130 amps but voltage can be as high as 48VDC. Applications can range from the most critical equipment such as propane generators for emergency communications to remote batteries used by power companies to switch loads after storms to restore power. UTL has all of our advanced features such as SCADA contacts for remote indication of battery problems. A “kill” circuit can be connected to the starter solenoid of a diesel to eliminate the possibility of exercising batteries while starting a motor. It can also be set to eliminate battery exercise during any situation such as during a power outage.
