PJR is the original “ExerGizer”. Originally designed in Minnesota for boat battery storage, it is now used for maintaining batteries in collector cars, RV’s, snowbird cars, and street rods. With ExerGizer, the battery can safely remain in the vehicle with cables connected. The battery will be maintenance charged with less than one amp. Every 12 hours, an exercise cycle will simulate starting the engine while monitoring the voltage. If the voltage drops below a pre-set level, an alarm will sound and a light will flash.
The exercise cycle allows the battery to remain active rather than losing its ability to turn a motor over. The test circuit provides useful information about the health of a battery before heading for the hills or lake. Because batteries will last longer, it is good for the environment and pays for itself.
